Purpose

Generate exactly one TOEIC-style four-choice multiple-choice grammar question based on a user-provided theme. The prompt must produce a practical, exam-like, grammatically precise question that is immediately usable for study, teaching, or test creation. The explanation section must present English first and then Japanese so that the learner can understand both the TOEIC-style reasoning and the grammar point bilingually.

Context

The user wants to create a TOEIC-style grammar multiple-choice question in a consistent and high-quality format. The output should resemble a realistic TOEIC Part 5 item, focusing on grammar, usage, collocation, and sentence structure. The user prefers reusable prompt assets, strict formatting, and output that can be directly copied into study materials. The user specifically wants only one question. In addition, the explanation-related sections must be presented in bilingual form, with English first and Japanese second.

Task

Read the user’s theme and generate exactly one TOEIC-style four-choice question based on that theme. The question should test one main grammar or usage point. The question must contain exactly one blank and exactly four answer choices labeled A, B, C, and D. Only one choice may be correct.

After the question, provide the correct answer, the completed sentence, a detailed explanation, an explanation of why each incorrect choice is wrong, the grammar rule being tested, a short TOEIC test-taking tip, a related frequent pattern, and one full example sentence using that related pattern.

For all explanation-related sections, write English first and Japanese second in the same field.

Maintain a professional exam-prep style throughout. If the user specifies a difficulty level such as beginner, intermediate, or advanced, reflect that in vocabulary and grammar selection. If the user does not specify difficulty, use standard TOEIC level.

Constraints

Write the question itself and the answer choices in English.
For each explanation-related field, write the English explanation first, then the Japanese explanation immediately after it.
Do not explain your internal reasoning process.
Do not output anything outside the requested result format.
Do not silently guess missing required information when the user has clearly omitted an essential condition that prevents execution.
If the user gives a usable theme, proceed without asking unnecessary follow-up questions.
Keep the style consistent with TOEIC grammar multiple-choice questions.
Generate exactly one question, no more and no fewer.
The question must have exactly four answer choices labeled A, B, C, and D.
Only one answer may be correct.
The completed sentence must show the original sentence with the correct answer inserted naturally.
The explanation must be specific, educational, and test-oriented.
The incorrect choices must each be explained separately.
The grammar rule must be stated clearly and briefly.
The TOEIC tip must be short and practical.
The related frequent pattern must be commonly useful for TOEIC learners.
The final example sentence must be natural and complete.
Do not use tables unless the user explicitly requests them.
Do not use decorative symbols or emojis.
Do not use headings with hash symbols.
If the user writes only a theme such as “prepositions” or “verb tense,” interpret that as a valid execution request.
If the user writes “four-choice questions” or “multiple-choice questions,” interpret that as a request for TOEIC-style grammar items.

Essential Example

Question 1
Sentence: The manager requested a detailed _____ of last quarter’s sales performance before Friday.
Choice A: analyze
Choice B: analysis
Choice C: analytical
Choice D: analyzed
Correct Answer: B
Completed Sentence: The manager requested a detailed analysis of last quarter’s sales performance before Friday.
Explanation: The sentence requires a noun because the blank follows the article-adjective combination “a detailed.” “Analysis” is the correct noun form and fits naturally in the structure. 日本語: 空所の前に a detailed という「冠詞+形容詞」があるため、ここには名詞が必要です。analysis は「分析」という意味の名詞で、文構造に自然に合います。
Why Choice A Is Wrong: “Analyze” is a verb, but the sentence needs a noun in this position. 日本語: analyze は動詞なので、この位置に必要な名詞としては使えません。
Why Choice B Is Wrong: This is the correct answer because “analysis” is the noun form required by the sentence pattern. 日本語: これは正解です。analysis はこの文型で必要な名詞です。
Why Choice C Is Wrong: “Analytical” is an adjective, so it cannot fill a noun position here. 日本語: analytical は形容詞なので、ここで必要な名詞の位置には入れられません。
Why Choice D Is Wrong: “Analyzed” is a past participle and does not function as the needed core noun in this sentence. 日本語: analyzed は過去分詞であり、この文で必要な中心となる名詞にはなりません。
Grammar Rule: After an article and an adjective, a noun is often required. 日本語: 冠詞と形容詞の後には、名詞が必要になることが多いです。
TOEIC Tip: When you see an article and an adjective before the blank, first check whether the sentence needs a noun. 日本語: 空所の前に冠詞と形容詞があるときは、まず名詞が入るかを確認すると解きやすいです。
Related Frequent Pattern: article + adjective + noun 日本語: 冠詞+形容詞+名詞
Example Sentence: The committee conducted a thorough review of the new hiring policy. 日本語: その委員会は新しい採用方針について徹底的な見直しを行った。

Modification Clause

If you want to change the target grammar area, explanation depth, difficulty level, business context, or formatting style, specify the exact modification request and regenerate the prompt accordingly.

10 SVC

指定番号:
9 10

出力:
9. SV

解説
SVは「主語 + 動詞」の形で成り立つ最も基本的な文型である。ここで使われる動詞は自動詞で、後ろに目的語を取らない。

英語例文
Example: The train arrived on time.

日本語訳
その列車は時間どおりに到着した。

補足
on time は「時間どおりに」という意味の修飾語であり、文型の中心は The train arrived である。

10. SVC

解説
SVCは「主語 + 動詞 + 補語」の文型で、補語は主語の状態や性質を説明する。主語と補語がイコールに近い関係になるのが特徴である。

英語例文
Example: The room is quiet.

日本語訳
その部屋は静かだ。

補足
quiet は主語 The room の状態を説明しているため補語である。
