Windows のように、まず文字を選択してからコピーしたい場合は、「v」を押してビジュアルモードに移行します。ビジュアルモードに入ると、Vimの一番下の行に 【-- ビジュアル --】もしくは【-- VISUAL --】と表示されます。この状態で、「l」や「j」を押すと移動した分だけ文字が反転して選択されていることが示されます。ヤンクしたい部分を選択してか ら、「y」を押せば選択範囲をヤンクすることが出来ます。
