中はソースコードの書き方などは全く掲載していないが、どの分野にどういうプログラミングが使われているのかを説明している。
但し、入門者用の本とは言え、ITの用語をある程度知っている人でないと厳しいと思われる。
プログラミングってどんな世界？という人よりも、学校や職場、あるいは自分で何かしらのITやプログラミングの仕事や勉強を進めていて、ITの基礎的な専門用語は把握しており、その言語及び他の言語がどういう場面で使われているのかを概観したい人に勧める。
There is no how to write source code at all but this book guides what programing language is used in what area.
Though, as it declares this book is for beginner, those without technical words in IT indrustry seem to face difficulty.
I'd like to recommend this book not for those who have curiosity of what kind of world programing language is used in but for those who:
- are experiencing job or study of IT/programing tasks in school or office, or are progressing self-learning of them
- grasp IT basic technical temrs
- would like to know overview of what kind of scene the language your are addressing or other languages are used in.
