俺的、雑な比較

MySQL 良き

AuroraServerlessで省メモリ。0.5ACUで収まりやすい
カラム追加時、追加する場所を選べる
接続コストが安い。aws-lamdaでコネクションプールを使わない場合有利、たぶん。
MySQL Workbenchが使いやすい

PostgreSQL　良き

DDLをrollback出来る、マイグレーション系で便利
マテリアライズドビューがある
複雑なクエリの実行計画が強い、速い
ライセンスで悩まない
