✅ 通常プロキシ（フォワードプロキシ）

クライアント → プロキシ → {インターネット} → 外部サーバ
  • クライアント側の代理
  • クライアントは「プロキシ経由で外部に出ていく」
  • 外部サーバからは 本当のクライアントは見えない

✅ リバースプロキシ

クライアント → {インターネット} → リバースプロキシ → 内部サーバ
  • サーバ側の代理
  • クライアントは「リバースプロキシにアクセスしている」意識
  • 内部サーバの存在は隠れている

補足

  • {インターネット} の部分は状況次第
    （同一DC・閉域網・社内WANなら必ずしも「インターネット」ではない）
