SecurID ハードトークンは、時刻同期方式のワンタイムパスワードを生成する認証デバイスです。 トークンに表示される 60 秒毎に変わるトークンと、カードの所有者を示す PIN 番号 (暗証番号)を組み合わせて、その時の自分のパスワードとして使用します。
一度認証に使用したパスワードは、再利用が出来ませんので、 万全のセキュリティを確保することが出来ます。
専用のカードリーダは不要です。
