Detail Page Link なんかよく分からん

After creating the Detail Page Link and added to the Account Layout, you have to click the wrench icon next to the Custom Links section and select the Detail Page checkbox and click save as shown in below screenshot.

Once this is added to the page layout, you can open any account record and click on Details tab and see the newly created Custom Detail Page Link as shown below.
