Customize a contact record page

• Can't able to perform -> Remove the Notes & Attachments related list from the Contact Layout page layout and replace it with the Files related list. Can anybody please help me related to this. I had already remove the given fields from the page.

This is likely due to the related list not being on the page layout. Try adding the Files related list by going to Setup > Object Manager > Contact > Page Layouts > select the appropriate layout > drag and drop the Files related list onto the layout > Save. Once this is done you should be able to select Files from the Related List - Single component.

• On the Contact Layout page layout, we can’t find the ‘Files’ related list. I have gone to the object and dragged the files to the related area but am still getting this error.

Give users a customized set of fields on their contact record pages.

• Select Edit Page from a contact record

• Upgrade the page to use Dynamic Forms

• Use the Contact Layout as the source for the fields

• Remove these fields from the page:

  • Fax
  • Other Phone
  • Home Phone

• Remove the Notes & Attachments related list from the Contact Layout page layout and replace it with the Files related list.

• Save and activate the page as the org default, and make it available to both desktop and phone users

In contacts- go to list view -select all contacts-select one contact and then click edit page in settings at the top right corner.

Click on the middle of the Details page, you will get an Dynamic Forms upgrade button at the right side of your page.
