IntelliJ IDEAは仕様でContent root内にない物を受け付けないようです（よくわかってない）
そこで、シンボリックリンクを無理やりContent root内に作成すれば回避することができました。
Windowsの方は、コマンドプロンプトを管理者で起動して、
コマンドプロンプト
mklink /d [Content root内の作りたいパス] [本物のディレクトリのパス]
でシンボリックリンクを作成できます。
