Vmmemによるメモリ枯渇への対処備忘録

背景

WSL2上のDockerコンテナで環境構築している時に、マシンがやたらと重い。
仕事用のマシンのメモリが8GBしかないのが原因かと思ったが、タスクマネージャーを見るとvmmemが悪さしてそう。

対処法

暫定的に~/.wslconfigでメモリ制限を4GBに設定してみた。

結果

vmmemは最大でも4GBしか使わなくなった。
ビルドも問題なく行えた。
