Problem

java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'boolean 
com.dreamwalker.BluetoothLeService.connect(java.lang.String)' on a null object reference

Solution

To use Service, you need to add service in AndroidManifest.xml

            android:name=".BluetoothLeService"
            android:enabled="true" />
