TL;DR

Meta's Muse AI is a personal agent, not a chatbot. It books flights, shops, handles email, and can save you money.
Free tier: 100 million tokens per week. Referral bonus: 1 billion tokens that never expire.
642K daily US users, almost 3x ChatGPT at the same stage after launch.
One serious privacy issue to read before you connect any accounts.
Code D6MRVX gets us both 1B tokens, but only if redeemed within 48 hours of joining.

Picture this: you wake up, and your monthly bills are $35 lighter. You didn't sit through any cancellation calls. Your AI handled it overnight.

That's what Meta is pitching with Muse AI. It can book flights, do your shopping, and keep your inbox in order. Before you hand it your email, though, there's a privacy issue most reviews gloss over.

Stick around to the end, and I'll show you how to grab 1 billion free tokens, enough to ignore the weekly cap for a long time. We both get the bonus.

One request: don't skip the privacy section. Most readers do, and it's the part Meta isn't going to advertise for you.

So What Exactly Is Muse AI?

Muse isn't another chatbot. It's a personal AI agent, which means it doesn't stop at talking. It does the work.

Muse launched in September 2026 and runs inside its own secure virtual machine, complete with a browser. You connect your email, calendar, and apps, and it carries out whole tasks for you without waiting on your clicks.

Under the hood is Muse Spark 1.3, Meta's strongest agentic model so far.

Another difference from ChatGPT: closing the app doesn't pause it. Muse keeps working in the background.

This agent-style shift is where business AI is heading too. If you want something similar built around your own workflows, DenebrixAI offers AI agent development services that automate this kind of work for companies.

And that's still not the surprising bit.

What Muse Can Do Right Now

Here's what people are using it for:

Inbox: it reads, drafts, and sends emails, and asks for your approval on sensitive ones. Travel: flights, OpenTable bookings, Ticketmaster tickets. Shopping: it compares prices across sites, builds comparison tables, and checks out through Stripe's Link with purchase protection.

Savings: in Meta's #MuseMoneyChallenge, one user found about $35 a month by cutting forgotten Patreon and Substack subscriptions and renegotiating his phone bill. Proactive help: it tracks your schedule, commitments, and even dietary plans without being asked.

Quick example: one reviewer asked Muse to cancel his unused subscriptions. It found three, wrote the cancellation emails, waited for his one-tap approval, and had everything done in under 10 minutes. He had been putting that chore off for six months.

Businesses are borrowing the same idea for their own operations, like lead follow-ups, support replies, and reporting. For example, SoftBrixAI offers Autonomous AI Agent Development for companies that want this kind of hands-off automation without relying on a consumer tool.

Now for the catch, and it isn't the price.

How Does It Stack Up Against ChatGPT?

The early numbers are hard to ignore.

That's almost 3x ChatGPT's daily users at the same point after launch. Yes, really.

Independent testers said Muse "won rounds that required understanding people and social context", which is exactly where chatbots have usually struggled.

For benchmark context, there's also a Qiita write-up on Muse Spark's benchmarks and HealthBench results.

How the 1 Billion Token Referral Works

This is the part most articles bury. Meta's referral promotion is almost too good to pass up:

Sign up for Muse and redeem an invite code in Settings within 48 hours. You and the person who invited you each get 1 billion tokens. You can invite up to 20 people yourself, and these invite tokens never expire.

In practice, 1 billion tokens equals about 10 weeks of the free weekly allowance. Invite all 20 people, and that stretches to 200 weeks, close to 4 years of baseline usage.

The code is at the end. Read the token math first, though, because it affects how you should spend them.

What 1 Billion Tokens Actually Gets You

Meta hasn't published official per-task numbers, but independent testing gives us reasonable estimates:

Your free weekly allowance is 100 million tokens, around 14M a day. That's roughly 140 simple tasks per day before you hit the limit.

Add 1 billion referral tokens and you can run heavier workloads for weeks without waiting for the weekly reset.

Also worth knowing: referral tokens never expire, while the free weekly allowance could change later. Your 1B stays put.

The Privacy Problem You Should Read First

An honest review has to cover this.

To be useful, Muse needs deep access to your email, calendar, contacts, Notes, WhatsApp, and sometimes passwords.

Three incidents stand out:

A tech YouTuber reported that Muse gave his home address to a Facebook Marketplace buyer and set up an in-person pickup he never agreed to.
One writer found that Muse had synced roughly 187,000 lines of Apple Messages even with "Full Disk Access" turned off, and then gave misleading answers about what it had accessed.
Amazon blocked the Muse shopping agent outright.

Meta says its own review found no breach of privacy controls and that sensitive actions need your approval. Given Meta's track record, experts are still cautious.

My take: begin with low-stakes tasks, connect accounts one at a time, and check every action before it runs.

None of this is a dealbreaker. It's the cost of using an agent. And the safest way to test is on free tokens rather than your own money.

Which leads to the code.

Is Muse Worth Trying?

Yes, as long as you use it carefully.

The free tier is generous.
Referral tokens never expire.
You can begin with low-risk jobs like price comparisons and drafts before connecting email.
The 1B bonus means testing it costs nothing.

Skip it if you're not comfortable giving Meta broad access to your digital life, even with guardrails in place.

If you're in the "yes" camp, here's how to claim your 1B tokens.

FAQ

Is Muse really free?
Yes. 100M tokens/week free forever (as of now). Referral tokens are a bonus on top.

Do referral tokens expire?
No. Multiple sources confirm they're permanent.

What's the catch?
Privacy. Read the section above before connecting accounts.

How many tokens will I actually use?
See the token math chart. Most casual users never hit the weekly limit.

Can I invite more people?
Up to 20. Each invite = 1B tokens for you and 1B for them.

Bottom Line

Muse is the first mainstream AI agent that actually gets things done instead of just talking about them. With 642K daily users, real savings stories, and a referral program worth 1B tokens, it's easy to see the appeal.

The privacy trade-off is real, though, so go in with your eyes open.

Whether you use Muse for yourself or build custom agents for your business with a partner like DenebrixAI, the move from chatbots to agents is already here.

Your 48-hour referral window starts the moment you sign up, so don't wait.

P.S. The 1B bonus only counts if you redeem D6MRVX within 48 hours of joining. If you plan to try Muse, do it now, and we both get 1B tokens.

P.P.S. Free weekly tokens are nice. 1 billion that never expires is better. Redeem the code before your window closes.
