glsl パフォーマンスチューニング

はじめに

glslはデバックが困難なので、まずは、ちゃんと動作するプログラムを作りましょう。
最初からパフォーマンスを考慮したトリッキーなプログラムを書くと、だいたいハマります。

for文をなるべく使わない。

glslのfor文はループ回数を動的に変更できない&パフォーマンス的にあまりよろしくない為、なるべくリプリケーションをうまく使いましょう。うまくいけば、for文を使うことなくやりたいことができます。但し、全く異なった発想の転換が必要になります。

if文をなるべく使わない

glslは分岐命令に弱いのでなるべく使わないようにしましょう。stepを代替に使うと良いでしょう。
