XCode 9.1 にアップグレードしてから React Native で iOS のシミュレータが起動しなくなった

例えば create-react-native-app で作ったアプリであれば、yarn ios してもシミュレータ起動時に以下のエラーが出て起動に失敗する場合。

Could not parse the simulator list output

一度 XCode を起動すると additional tools をインストールするかどうかのダイアログが出てくるので、そのままダウンロードを実行するとまたシミュレータが起動できるようになる。
