早いものでもう3月ですね。今回は、月の変わり目に関係する話題です。
SoftLayerには、Anniversary Billing Date（ABD）という考え方があります。
毎月、この日を締め日として、毎月の利用料金が確定します。
月額サーバーを使っていた場合、ABDを過ぎると、また翌月分の料金が発生します。

さて、このABDですが、その月に存在しない日付だったらどうなるでしょう？
例えば、30日がABDだった場合、2月には30日がありません。
課金に関係する事なので、正確に理解しておきたいところです。
答えはSoftLayerのMaster Service Agreement（MSA）に書いてありました。

下記の通り、ABDがその月に存在しない日付だった場合は、その月の最後の日になるという事です。毎月30日がABDだった場合、今年の場合、2月は28日がABDになるという事ですね。
If the Anniversary Billing Date is a date in a calendar month which does not exist in each calendar month, then the Anniversary Billing Date shall be the last date of such month (i.e. if the Anniversary Billing Date is the 30th, then in February, the Anniversary Billing Date shall be either February 28 or 29, depending on the year).
