Proxy環境下でDocker for Windowsを使う

@ITの記事の通りに進めていたらDocker RunがProxyのせいで引っかかったのでメモ。
手っ取り早く解決したい方は正しい対処法へ

環境

Docker for Windows (18.03.1-ce)
Windows 10 Pro

エラー内容

コマンドプロンプトにDocker run hello-worldを打ち込んだらこんな文面のエラーが出てきた。
ざっくり言うとネットに繋がらないみたいなこと?


Unable to find image 'hello-world:latest' locally
docker: Error response from daemon: Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers).
See 'docker run --help'.

やったこと

Proxyが怪しかったので、タスクトレイにあるDockerアイコンを右クリックして「Settings…」を開いた

Proxiesのメニューを見るとNo proxyが選択されていたので、Manual proxy configurationに選択し直してWeb Server(HTTP)の箇所にProxyのアドレスを入力してApplyをした。が動かない。

正しい対処法

proxyの後に「:」で区切ってport番号を書いてApplyしたらDocker runができるようになった!
