Atomのlatex PackageはTex Liveに依存しているため、以下のディレクトリを探索すれば良い。
/Applications/TeXLive/Library/texlive/2016/texmf-dist/tex/latex
配置し終わったら
sudo mktexlsr
するのを忘れないように。
