CentOS6でシングルユーザーモードに入れなかったのでメモ

オールSSDが売りのVPSサービスである、Conohaで動作中のCentOS6.6のrootパスワードを忘れました。アホですね😂😂
なお、シングルユーザーモードへの入り方などは割愛します。

現象

何故かわからないけどいくらKernelオプションに「single」を付けても、
Enabling /etc/fstab swaps: [ OK ]
で止まる。

解決策

Kernelオプションが多すぎたようです。
console以下を削除することで無事に起動しました。
