virtual boxにcentosをインストールしようとしたら、
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.
となって進めなくなった。
「VM VirtualBox マネージャー」ウインドウの
仮想マシン→設定→システム→プロセッサー→PAE/NXを有効化
にチェックを入れると先に進めるようになりました。
ちなみに仮想マシンがパワーオフの状態でないと変更できないです。
