pdbファイルに関するメモ

  • pdbファイルは保存しておいた方が良い。
    • Releaseビルドしたときも、本番環境でなにかあった時のために、exe/dllとペアで置いておいた方がよい。
  • Nuget経由で入手したOSSは、pdbも同梱されている。
  • .netFrameworkのdllも、https://referencesource.microsoft.com/ からpdbを入手可能。
  • ソースとpdbがあれば、こちらで行ったようなデバッグができる。
    • つまり、Nuget経由のOSSも、.NetFrameworkのdllも、pdbもコードも手に入るので、やろうと思えば落ちた時のデバッグが可能。
