VSCodeの拡張機能をインストールしても依存関係が解決できていない場合は補完機能などが動作しなかったりします。
実際に自分がハマりました・・・
Kubernetesの拡張機能をインストールしたのですが、補完機能が動いていませんでした。
これをインストールするだけでは動作しないので依存関係タグにある拡張機能も合わせてインストールが必要でした。
これを知らなくて、なんで補完機能が動かないの！！！！！！って叫んでました。。。。。
