DBのテーブル情報を棚卸する際に、DBのテーブル数を確認する事に。
その際に以下の様なクエリを実行する事で解決した。
MySQL
SELECT * FROM sysobjects WHERE xtype = 'u'
SQLServer
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `information_schema`.`tables` WHERE `table_schema` = 'DB名';
