bashでデプロイなど時間のかかるコマンドを実行したとき、そういえば実行してから何分経ったかな、ということがあります。
~/.bashrcに
~/.bashrc
HISTTIMEFORMAT="%F %T "
を追記するとhistoryコマンドにタイムスタンプがついて便利です。
