RHEL6、CentOS6におけるUIDとGIDの割り当て範囲をマトリクスに
しました。

UID

ユーザの種類 ユーザの機能 UIDの範囲
rootユーザ 特権ユーザ 0
システムユーザ アプリケーションを実行するユーザ 1 - 499
個人ユーザ Linux上で作業を行うユーザ 500 - 60000

GID

グループの種類 UIDの範囲
rootグループ 0
システムグループ 1 - 499
個人グループ 500 - 60000
