同期通信と非同期通信のおおまかな違いは？

クライアント・サーバーの基本的な流れ

①ユーザーがサーバーにリクエスト
②サーバー処理中
③サーバーからレスポンスが帰ってきて表示

②の処理中にクライアントが他の操作（作業）ができるのが非同期通信で、データが帰ってくるまでフリーズしているのが同期通信
