OpenShift Virtualization
Red Hat® OpenShift® Virtualization は Red Hat OpenShift に含まれる機能であり、組織が新規および既存の仮想マシン (VM) ワークロードを実行およびデプロイするための先進的なプラットフォームを提供します。このソリューションにより、従来の仮想マシンを、信頼できる、一貫した包括的なハイブリッドクラウド・アプリケーション・プラットフォームに簡単に移行できます。
OpenShift Virtualization は、VM の移行を単純化するとともに、クラウドネイティブ・アプリケーション・プラットフォームのシンプルさと速度を利用してインフラストラクチャのモダナイゼーションの道筋を提供します。また、先進的な管理の原則を取り入れつつ既存の仮想化への投資を維持することを目指しており、Red Hat の包括的な仮想化ソリューションの基盤となります。
Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV)
Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV) を使用すると、仮想マシンを VMware vSphere などから OpenShift Container Platform で実行されている OpenShift Virtualization に移行できます。
VMware Migration
OCP 4.18 Bare Metal 環境 OpenShift Virtualization (OCP-V) / MTV 2.8 から OCP+OCP-V 4.19 / MTV 2.9 に Update した環境で VMware VCenter からの Migration Plan を作成してみます。
ここでは、事前作成済みの以下の Provider を使用します。

OCP Console の Migration for Virtualization / Migration plans 画面で、Project に 上記 Provider と同じ z-ocpv-migration-test3 を指定して、右上の Create Plan で作成します。
Plan name に z-ocpv-migration-test3-plan1 を指定し、Source provider Target provider に上記の Provider を指定します。今回は Target project (VM Migration 先の Project) に、Migration Plan と同じ Project を指定します。
なお、Target project の説明は以下のようになっており、異なる Project も指定可能です。
Virtual machines
Next で Virtual machines 画面に移動して、Migration 対象の VM を選択します。
Network map
Next で Network map 画面に移動して、使用する Network Map を指定します。
Network Map を事前に用意している場合は Use an existing network map を選択しますが、今回は新規作成のため Use new network map を選択します。 VMware 側の Network を Source network に、OCP (OCP-V) 側の Network を Target network に指定します。Network map name を指定する場合は任意の名前を入力し、Default 名で作成する場合はブランクのままにします。
Storage map
Next で Storage map 画面に移動して、使用する Storage Map を指定します。ここでは、Network Map と同じ要領で指定します。
Migration type
Next で Migration type 画面に移動して、Cold migration Warm migration のいずれかを選択します。

Next で Other settings (optional) 画面に移動して、必要な指定を行います。

Next で Hooks (optional) 画面に移動して、必要な指定を行います。

Review and create
Next で Review and create 画面が表示され、内容を確認後 Create plan で作成完了です。
Completion
完了すると、以下のような画面が表示されます。Migration Plan 名の右側に Ready for migration と表示されている事を確認します。

なお、今回の指定では Network Map Storage Map が Default 名で自動的に作成されます。
以上で Migration Plan の準備は完了です。
