自分しか迷わないnginxのロケーション

最近業務で初めてnginxを扱ったのだが、既に公開されている会社のホームページにコンテンツを追加する作業だった。
その中でlocationについて学んだことを共有する。

  • いずれか一つしか採用されない。
  • 最長一致したものが採用される。
  • if文の代わりにはならない。
  • 似て非なるコンテキストはincludeでまとめる。
  • 何が採用されたかは個別のアクセスログファイル名を指定すると分かる。

もっとあった気がするが、思い出したら追記する。
