はじめに
２回目でWindows Subsystem for Linuxをインストールした時もGoogleから始まりましたので、手順をメモしておきます。
まだ、今回インストールしたのはUbuntu 18.04 LTSです。
環境
Windows 10 バージョン１８０９
手順
Windows Subsystem for Linux機能の有効化
- 管理者権限でPowershellを起動
左下のWindowsアイコンを右クリックし、「Windows PowerShell(管理者)」をクリックします。
- 下記Windows Subsystem for Linux機能の有効化コマンドを実行します。
Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux
- Windows再起動
再起動するかが聞かれますので、Yキーを押して再起動します。
Ubuntuをインストール
- 「Microsoft Store」を起動し、「Ubuntu」を検索します。
- 「Ubuntu 18.04 LTS」を開きます。
- 「入手」をクリックすると、自動的にダウンロードされます。
- ダウンロード完了通知が来ましたら、「起動」をクリックします。
起動したら、下記内容が表示され、ユーザー名とパスワードを入力してインストールを完了します。

Enter new UNIX username: user
Enter new UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:

- ubuntuの更新
下記コマンドでubuntuを更新します。パスワードが聞かれますので、上記入力したパスワードを入力します。
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade -y
