iTermで新しいタブを開いたときに開く前と同じディレクトリで開くには
Preferences.. -> Profiles -> Generalを開き、
Working DirectoryでReuse previous session's directoryを選択する。
これでOK。
また、新しくウィンドウを開いた場合とタブを開いた場合のディレクトリを変更したかったら、Advanced ConfigurationのEdit…で変更すればOK。
