日本から、Braintreeのアカウントを申請してみた。

既存のPaypalでログイン

まだ、日本版は正式にサービスしてないようですが、とりあえず、申請したらどうなるか、試してみました。
既存にPaypalのBusinessアカウントがあったので、連携でログインしたら、できませんでした。

仕方なく、新規登録しました。

登録して、1日たったら、メールが来てました。

1. A copy of the passport or National ID for the authorized signer.
2. A copy of a recently issued personal utility bill for the authorized signer.
3. The complete ACRA BizFile outlining shareholder information.
4. A recent Business bank statement or e-statement displaying company legal name, company address, and account number. (We cannot accept screenshots)
5. Your default currency is SGD. Would you like additional presentment currencies?

Also, please answer the following:

1. With this account, what services or products will you be accepting payments for? 
2. How many days does it take the cardholder to receive product or service?

すると、以下の書類が貰えます。

We can only support businesses that are registered in, operating out of, and banking within the same Braintree supported country, and at this this time, we cannot support businesses operating out of Japan.

In order to proceed, can you please confirm you are signing up for Braintree for a Singapore registered business?
