MacでVMware Remote Consoleがつながらないときの対応

目的

MacでVMware Remote Consoleがつながらず、エラー「Unable to connect to MKS: Could not locate vmware-authd executable」が出ることの解決

原因

参考のリンクによれば、vCenterやPSCの名前解決ができていても
ESXiホストに対する名前解決ができてないことが原因

解決手順

Macの場合は、以下のコマンドで対応可能。

sudo vi /private/etc/hosts
#以下を記入
10.xx.xx.xx esx01.host.com
