アプリケーションが終了するときに、子プロセスを自動的に終了させる方法

子プロセスを起動するようなアプリケーションでは、ゾンビ化しないように確実に子プロセスが終了するようにしたい。

やり方自体は枯れた情報だけどQiitaに記事がなかったし、C/C++だと例があるがC#だとあまり日本語での情報があまり引掛からないので書いてみた。

大まかな処理

  1. CreateJobObject 関数でジョブオブジェクトを作成する。
  2. SetInformationJobObject関数で JOBOBJECT_BASIC_LIMIT_INFORMATION::LimitFlagsJOB_OBJECT_LIMIT_KILL_ON_JOB_CLOSE を設定する。
  3. AssignProcessToJobObject関数でジョブに子プロセスを紐付ける。
  4. 子プロセスが必要な期間、ジョブオブジェクトのハンドルを保持する。(開放しなければプロセス終了時に開放される)

注意点としては、 JOBOBJECT_BASIC_LIMIT_INFORMATION::LimitFlags でフラグを設定するのに、SetInformationJobObject 関数では JobObjectExtendedLimitInformationJOBOBJECT_EXTENDED_LIMIT_INFORMATION 構造体を使用しなければならないこと。

おすすめはしないが、Interop.Excelに応用するとしたらApplicationClass.HwndからGetWindowThreadProcessId関数でプロセスIDを取得すれば対応できるはず。
