Ubuntuのファイルシステムの取得:Ubuntu

以下URLからUbuntu14.04 armhfのルートファイルシステムをダウンロードできます。

なお、今回はwgetで取得しますのでwebサイトにおけるダウンロードはいりません。

ワークスペースにファイルシステムをダウンロードします。

$ cd ~/work_dir
$ wget http://s3.armhf.com/dist/basefs/ubuntu-trusty-14.04-armhf.com-20140603.tar.xz

ダウンロードしたファイルシステム用のディレクトリを作成し、展開します。

以下のコマンドで展開に失敗する場合はGUIからも展開できます。

$ mkdir ubuntu_rootfs
$ cd ubuntu_rootfs
$ tar -Jxvf ../ubuntu-trusty-14.04-armhf.com-20140603.tar.xz

展開に成功すると以下のようなディレクトリができます。

bin  boot  dev  etc  home  lib  media  mnt  opt  proc  root  run  sbin  srv  sys  tmp  usr  var

ブート用SDの作成:Ubuntu

Zybo上でUbuntuを起動するために、SDカード(microSD)にパーティションを作成します。

使用するSDカードは8GB以上をおすすめします。

UbuntuマシンにSDカードを挿入したあと、lsblkでマウント状況を確認しましょう。

以下の場合では/dev/sdcとしてマウントされています。

fdiskコマンドでパーティションを作成します。SDカードのパーティションが何もないところから始めてください。

まず、第1パーティションを作成します。このパーティションはブートローダやLinuxカーネルが入ります。

  • p:プライマリ、First sector:デフォルト、Last sector:+64Mbyte
$ sudo fdisk /dev/sdc

SDカードに書き込み:Ubuntu

SDカードにシステムに必要なファイルをコピーします。

コピーするファイルは以下のものです。(SDカードをマウントしてください。)

  • ZYBO_ROOT
    • BOOT.bin
    • devicetree.dtb
    • uEnv.txt
    • uImage
  • ROOT_FS
    • Ubuntuのファイルシステム

ZYBO_ROOT

$ cd ~/work_dir
$ cp BOOT.bin /media/user_name/ZYBO_BOOT/.
$ cp devicetree.dtb /media/user_name/ZYBO_BOOT/.
$ cp uEnv.txt /media/user_name/ZYBO_BOOT/.
$ cp uImage /media/user_name/ZYBO_BOOT/.
$ ls /media/user_name/ZYBO_BOOT/

書き込みが完了したら、Zyboにシリアル接続時、ログインできるようにするため、設定ファイルを作成します。

$ cd /media/user_name/ROOT_FS/etc/init
$ sudo touch ttyPS0.conf

ファイルの中身は以下のようにしてください。

Zyboと母艦PCをUSBケーブルで接続してください。

Windowsマシンにおいては、デバイスドライバがインストールされているならば、Tera Termなどでシリアル接続が可能です。
