【PHP】4種類のnull判定

環境

Laravel v9.5.1 (PHP v8.1.3)

if (is_null($hoge)) {
   echo 'nullだよ';
}

=> "nullだよ"

if (empty($hoge)) {
   echo 'nullだよ';
}

=> "nullだよ"

if ($hoge == null ) {
   echo 'nullだよ';
}

=> "nullだよ"

値と型が完全に一致しているか判定できる。

if ($hoge === null ) {
   echo 'nullだよ';
}

=> "nullだよ"
