  • Workload (Scale-out - 16 active nodes: 1 master, 15 worker nodes):
    • OLAP (incl. BW/4HANA & BWoH)
  • Workload (Scale-out up to 4 nodes: 1 master, 3 worker and NO standby node):
    • OLTP (incl. S/4 HANA)

• u-9tb1.112xlarge

  • Workload (Scale-out up to 4 nodes: 1 master, 3 worker and NO standby node):
    • OLTP (incl. S/4 HANA)

• u-6tb1.metal

  • Workload (Scale-out - 16 active nodes with BW: 1 master, 15 worker nodes):
    • OLAP (incl. BW/4HANA & BWoH)
    • standby node is not allowed
    • AWS Nitro System next generation (100Gbit/s) must be used

    • Requires SLES 12 SP3 or above / RHEL 7.4 or above

      Remark: scale-out configuration is without standby node. HA is available via

           Remark: Based on SPS11 (or later) core-to-memory relaxation for OLAP, as of 
           SPS11 customers can make full use of RAM
      

• x1e.32xlarge

  • Workload (Scale-out up to 25 nodes)
    • OLAP (incl. BW/4HANA & BWoH) - up to 1.9TiB per node

  • Requires SLES 12 SP1 or above / RHEL 7.4 or above

          Default scalability guidelines for generic OLAP and OLTP workloads apply.
          For customer-workload optimized configuration - up to 4TiB per node is
          supported; see HANA sizing guidelines at https://www.sap.com/about/benchmark
          /sizing.html for details on customer workload-driven sizing.

  • Scale-out (up to 17 nodes, >5 nodes in controlled availability):
    • OLAP (incl. BW/4HANA & BWoH)
