Microsoft Build 2025 現地参加者向け情報

はじめに

来週 5/19-22 に開催される Microsoft Build に現地参加できることになったので、おもに現地参加者向けの情報をまとめてみます。イベントの概要については前回の投稿を参照してください。

50周年

地味に大事な情報ですが、マイクロソフトの創業は1975年で、今年で創業50周年だそうです。現地参加される方はノスタルジックなノベルティがゲットできるかもしれません。創業時は「Micro-Soft」と、会社名にハイフンが入っていたらしいですよ。

資格試験

現地参加者は特典としてMS認定資格試験とGitHub認定資格試験がひとつずつ無料で受験可能です。申込要領はこちら、まずMS資格のほうは普通にピアソンVUEで申し込むのですが、Build用のバウチャーコード的なものを入力するわけではなく、受験会場に「Microsoft Build Test Center」を選択するとなぜか支払時に「Microsoft Build 2025」という全額割引が適用される、という流れでした。おそらく、だれでも申込自体はできるが現地でのIDチェックがあるので実際にはBuild現地参加者しか無料受験できない、という仕組みなのではないかと思います。

試験の開始時間は限定されていて、AZ-900で検索してみたところ1日1回、下記の4枠のみが表示されました。

GitHubの資格は Copilot / AdvancedSecurity / Actions / Administration / Foundation の5種類があり、 FoundationのみBuild会場では受験できないかわりに無料バウチャーがもらえる¹ との記載があります。これはお得なのでは・・・？

Microsoft Build Challenge

MSLearnエリア（Pike 705 の4階？）で期間中開催してるとのことですが、内容の詳細は見つかりませんでした。なにか景品があるらしい。

The Microsoft Build Challenge is an onsite event designed for developers in today's AI-driven world. Participants have the opportunity to win prizes upon completion of the challenge. This exclusive, in-person experience will be held in the Microsoft Learn On-demand area during the Microsoft Build event.

AI Agent Open Hack

Day2からAIエージェント開発のハッカソンが開催されるようです。これも詳細不明ですが、Day2のKeynote後にキックオフがあり、

Are you ready to build the next generation of AI agents? Join us for an electrifying kickoff to the AI Agent Open Hack! This session will get you pumped up and prepared to create powerful agents using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, or M365 Copilot.

そのあとDay2～Day4に2時間枠が計10個用意されています。BYOD制（PCを持参）で、後半は何書いてあるか意味がわからず謎。（placeholderとは...?） 時間が合う方はDay2の11:45 AMからのキックオフに参加するのが早そうです。キックオフは録画されないとのこと。

AI Agent Open Hack (Option 1)（オープンハック）| Tuesday, May 20 | 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM PDT

Join us at the AI Agent Open Hack, where you'll have the opportunity to participate in a challenge to create your own AI agent. You'll be able to select the technology path of your choice from Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and M365 Copilot/Teams. Coaches will be available in the room to assist with questions.
This is a bring-your-own-device experience, and while seating is first come, first served, space will be available throughout the day. To learn more about the open hack join the Open Hack Informational. Use the related resources linked to prepare for the hack.
This session serves as a placeholder to help you plan your schedule effectively, ensuring you don't miss out on any of the exciting content and experiences at Microsoft Build

気になるセッション

Agent Mode in Action: AI Coding with Vibe and Spec-Driven Flows（バイブコーディングと仕様ドリブンフロー）| Monday, May 19 | 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM PDT

賛否両論のVibe Codingを冠するセッションですが、制御（harness）する術を学ぶ、とあるのでそこまでユルい内容ではなさそう。コーディングAIエージェントのなかではAgentModeはいまひとつ存在感が薄い印象ですが、知らないだけかもしれないのでこの機会に見ておきたい。

探査機Heraミッション（2022年に探査機DARTを小惑星ディモルフォスに衝突させた影響を別の探査機を飛ばして観測する計画）におけるAIの利用。これも大量の生データからインサイトを得るみたいな話が、自分の業務開発では出てこないようなシナリオ／具体例で聞けそうなので期待。

A 10x Faster TypeScript with Anders Hejlsberg（10倍速いTypeScript with アンダース・ヘルスバーグ）| Thursday, May 22 | 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM PDT
