Rails5でherokuにデプロイ後にWebサイトの画像が表示されない問題の解決方法

自作のWebサービスで画像がHerokuにデプロイ後に読み込まれなかった問題を解決したので方法を紹介していきます。

環境

・Rails 5.2.2

・Ruby 2.5.3

・Amazon Web Service

・Windows 10

問題点

Herokuにデプロイ後にWebサイトの画像が読み込まれないこと

実現したい事

Webページの画像を表示したい

手順

①config/environmentsの中にあるproduction.rbファイルを開く

production.rbファイルのコードを修正する。

修正前

production.rb

# Do not fallback to assets pipeline if a precompiled asset is missed.
  config.assets.compile = false

修正後

production.rb

# Do not fallback to assets pipeline if a precompiled asset is missed.
  config.assets.compile = true
