【自研究室向け】LaTeXにおける参考文献の作成方法

はじめに

卒論・修論、学会論文など論文執筆にやはりLaTexは欠かせません(再)。
以前、LaTeXとVSCodeの環境構築をする方法を紹介しました。
本稿では、前回の続きとして参考文献の作成の仕方を備忘録として残します。
本稿でもやっぱりOverleafは一旦スルーします

LaTeXについて

LaTeXとは、簡単にいうと文書作成ツールです。
インストールの仕方や、VSCodeでの環境構築方法については以下の記事で紹介しているので参考にしてください。

参考文献の作成方法

作成方法には、bibitemを使用する方法と、
pbibtexとbibファイルを使用する方法があります。
基本的にpbibtexを使用する方法を推奨しますが、一応どちらも紹介します。

bibitem

TeXのソースコード内にすべて記述する方法です。
サンプルコードを以下に示します。
参照する先の種類に問わず、すべて一律で同じ書き方で定義できます。
ビルドするレシピにはpbibtexを含まずに実行してください。

実行すると以下のようなPDFが生成されて、参考文献が作成されます。

pbibtex

こちらではpbibtexとbibファイルを使用して作成する方法です。
ビルドのレシピにpbibtexを追加し、文献情報を記述するbunken.bibを作成します。
bunken.bibには参照する種類によって定義を変更する必要があります。
また、使用するbstファイルによって定義の仕方も異なります。
今回は標準で使用できるjunsrtと、私が情報処理学会に論文投稿していた際のbibファイルのフォーマットに合うように作成したbstファイルを紹介します。
標準で使用できるフォーマットのソースコードは以下に載っています。

それでは今回使用するbibファイルの例bunken.bibを最初に示します(あくまで例です)。
LaTeXのソースコードと同じディレクトリ内に配置します。

まず、LaTeXのソースコードを先ほどのものから変更します。
先ほどまでbibitemだった部分を以下のように書き換えます。
\bibliography{bunken}で作成したbunken.bibを読み込むことを明示し、
\bibliographystyle{junsrt}でjunsrtのフォーマットを利用することを明示しています。

それでは実行してみましょう。
setting.json内のpbibtexのコメントアウトをもとに戻してください。
(反映されないようだったらVSCodeを再起動してみてください。)
ビルドすると以下のようなPDFが作成されます。
うまくいっているように見えますが、NICTERのURLや参照日が表示されていない問題点もありそうですね。
これは、実はjunsrt内にwepageという関数が存在しないためです。
そのため、Webページを参照する場合はURLをmiscという関数で記述する必要があります。
また、論文タイトルが大文字小文字の判定ができていなかったり、日本語論文の発行月を数字で入力しておくと最後の出力が12 2023というあまり気持ちの良くない形式になってしまいますね。
そこで、この後にこれを改良したbstファイルを一緒に作成してビルドしてみましょう。

bstファイルを改良してみよう

それでは先ほどの問題を踏まえて、bstファイルを改良してみましょう。
標準で準備されているもの以外でも自分でファイルを作成して読み込むことができます。
以下に新たに作成したcs2srt.bstを示します。
同じディレクトリに作成したcs2srt.bstを配置してください。

この中にあります。かなり長いので気になる人だけ読んでください。

先ほど\bibliographystyle{junsrt}と書いていたところを以下のように変更してください。

それでは実行してみましょう。
ビルドすると以下のようなPDFが作成されます。
しっかりとWebページのURLが表示されるように変更されていますね。
また、論文のタイトルの大文字小文字判定もできるようになっていますし、日本語論文の発行年月も変換されていることが確認できます。

おわりに

とりあえず参考文献についてはある程度これでできたかなと思います。
気に食わない部分は自分でbstファイル書き換えてみてください。
めちゃくちゃスタックのような考え方をしています。
索引の作り方はまた次の記事で紹介します。
