Ubuntu 20.04でSpotifyをsnapから入れて起動オプションを確認する

UM300という銀色の豆腐を購入して具を32GBに入れ替え(32GB/512GB)、Windows 10を設定して使い心地を味わったものの満足するはずなく、GpartedしてUbuntu 20.04を入れて住み替えました。いまはBecky!でメールをまとめて取得してアーカイブする以外ほとんどlxdeにいます。そして在宅24時間のうち17時間くらい触ってます。その、のめり込む環境はまず音楽から。Spotify導入のさわりの話です。

環境

導入

$ sudo snap install spotify

導入確認

$ spotify --version

起動

$ /snap/bin/spotify --username=your-registered-email-address --password=yours-corresponding

非常によいですね。ちょうどGet Wildがかかっていました。

Cache Directory

$ pwd
/home/nekoneko/snap/spotify/common/.cache

デフォルトだとここになります(/home/${user}/app-name/common/でわりかしsnap共通かな)。また、手元での動作未確認ですがこの後に引用するオプションで指定できるようです。実はこれをramdisk(tmpfs)に持っていこうかと思い、ざっと見回したのが話の発端です。

起動オプション

$ spotify --help

Usage: Spotify
Options which take arguments must be given in the form --option=argument. Supported options include:

--cache-path=
Use as root for the cache directory.

--help
Show publicly available flags.

--log-file=
Save log output to file (extension needs to be '.log').

--minimized
Start the app with the window minimized. Only works on Windows.

--mu=
Start with a special cache directory. Allows you to run multiple clients at the same
time. Value can be anything (will be used as part of the cache name).

--password=
Use to automatically sign in on startup. Use together with --username.

--show-console
Show more log output.

--trace-file=
Save a trace file to this path.

--uri=
Start the client normally, but automatically navigate to the URI when initialized.

--username=
Use to automatically sign in on startup. Use together with --password.

--version
Output the version of the app.

以上およそ10項目の設定が可能です。

締めに代えて

Windows版とまったく変わりのない使用感です(Spotifyが)。動作も軽い。僕の場合のWindowsとの違いは、sizerでウィンドウサイズを800x600とかに固定にして使っていたのが、Ubuntuではまだその方法がわからないことくらい(できない？手間かかる？)。それも手で変えればいいし、全く何の不満もない。回し者乙！でした。snapかわいいよsnap おやすみなさい。🐾
