SteamDeckでmidiを扱う。 #archLinux

SteamDeckのprotonの動きが素晴らしく、古いWindowsアプリもなんとなく動いてしまいます。
んが、コンパイルのディスクステーション等2000年ごろのmidi対応のものが多く、そのままでは動かないので
いろいろ試した結果うごいたのでまとめておきます。

サウンドフォントはいろいろあるので好きな物に置き換えればいいと思います。

対象

SteamDeckでmidiを鳴らしたい人。

1.SteamOSが起動しましたら、Desktopモードに切り替えます。

2.konsoleを起動し、以下のコマンドを実施します。

sudo steamos-readonly disable
sudo pacman -S fluidsynth
sudo pacman -S soundfont-fluid
sudo steamos-readonly enable

3.続いて以下のコマンドを実施、/etc/conf.d/fluidsynthを書き換えます。

sudo vim /etc/conf.d/fluidsynth

内容

# Mandatory parameters (uncomment and edit)
SOUND_FONT=/usr/share/soundfonts/FluidR3_GM.sf2

# Additional optional parameters (may be useful, see 'man fluidsynth' for further info)
OTHER_OPTS='-a pulseaudio -m alsa_seq -r 48000'

--alsaではなくpulseaudioになっていることを確認。

4.続いて以下のコマンドでデーモンとして登録、自動起動および起動していることを確認する

systemctl --user start fluidsynth
systemctl --user enable fluidsynth
systemctl --user status fluidsynth

5.以下のコマンドを実施し、FLUID Synthがいることを確認する。

aconnect -o

結果

client 14: 'Midi Through' [type=kernel]
    0 'Midi Through Port-0'
client 128: 'FLUID Synth (1078)' [type=user,pid=1078]
    0 'Synth input port (1078:0)'

6.steamに非steamソフトを登録しmidiがなることを確認する。
