What is a quantum computer? A computer who can think in quantum states. Superimposing states is a very common thing. Think of a carbon copy or trace paper, two drawings can be lined on top of the other (0 and ones). Entanglement also plays a part of quantum computers. There is a word that I do not like “Quantum computer supremacy” reading so much about the Holocaust the word supremacy makes my hairs stand up. I like the word alone quantum “how much”, or better particle computers. Why? Quantum computers run on photons and other particles. Physicists lead the pack at creating the technology that makes quantum computers. In the old times silicon chips overtook the market. The question I ask is which particle works best? Photons, Bosons or Fermions?
What about a multi-particle computer like a dual-core computer? Some computers use photons to carry single computations “quantum computers capable of carrying out a single specific type of calculation—boson sampling. “According to the Airports Council International (ACI) World Airport Traffic Report, there are currently 17,678 commercial airports in the world,” 700 airliners and 40,000 commercial planes. What if we need to make a flight schedule for all of these variables? It would take a very long time, but quantum computers can make these calculations in a snap. The other question about computing with particles is temperature. All current quantum computers work under very low temperatures but what about high temperatures.
