エミュレーターを横画面にするには「Ctrl + F11」で回転できますが、Macでは「control+ F11」を押しても回転できないかもしれません。
その時は、システム環境設定 > キーボード > F1、F2などのすべてのキーを標準の...。にチェックを入れる。
後はエミュレーターを起動し「control + F11」を押すと、横向きに回転します。
