Railsアプリケーションの雛形作成と削除方法を簡単に説明します。

IDEはAWSのcloud9を使用しています。
Rubyのバージョンは3.1.2
Railsのバージョンは6.1.7

アプリケーションの雛形作成方法

結論としては、「rails new」コマンドを実行します。
記述方法は以下の通りです。

rails new アプリケーション名

例として、「SNS」というアプリケーション名で作成する場合は

rails new SNS

となります。

rails newを実行する際に注意する点が２点あります。

• スペルミス
• 半角スペースの場所を間違えない

特に2点目の「半角スペースの場所を間違えない」というのは、どのような場合か

例えば、先ほど例同様に「SNS」というアプリケーションを作成した際

rails newSNS

と入力してしまうと

    The 'rails new' command creates a new Rails application with a default
    directory structure and configuration at the path you specify.

    or in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/rails/railsrc if XDG_CONFIG_HOME is set.

    Note that the arguments specified in the .railsrc file don't affect the
    defaults values shown above in this help message.

Example:
    rails new ~/Code/Ruby/weblog

    This generates a skeletal Rails installation in ~/Code/Ruby/weblog.

と返されて作成できません。注意してください。

アプリケーション削除方法

もし、アプリケーション名を間違えた等の理由で
アプリケーションを削除する場合は

rm -rf　アプリケーション名

を実行すれば削除されます。

「rm(remove)」 =　ファイルやフォルダを削除するコマンド
「-rf」 = フォルダ内の全てのファイルとフォルダを削除するコマンドオプション

アプリケーション作成は

rails new アプリケーション名

アプリケーション削除は

rm -rf アプリケーション名
