記事概要

・従来の流体シミュレーションはナビエ・ストークス方程式(NS)を数値的に解く必要があり、解像度を上げると安定的な解への収束が急激に遅くなる問題が発生
 ⇒ 現状は解像度を下げて高速化
・本論ではRegression Forest(ランダムフォレストの回帰分析バージョン)を利用することで、毎回NSを解くことなく粒子の位置・速度を推定することが可能
・結果として、既存のシミュレーションに比べて10~1,000倍高速化
・著者の1名はDisney Research研究者
