Ubuntu 16.04 LTSにVirtualboxをインストールする方法についてまとめます。

手順

  1. /etc/apt/sources.listの末尾に以下を追記します。
deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian xenial contrib
  1. 以下のコマンドを実行し、Virtualbox用のkeyを追加します。
$ wget -q https://www.virtualbox.org/download/oracle_vbox_2016.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -
  1. 以下のコマンドを実行し、パッケージ一覧を更新します。
$ sudo apt update
  1. 以下のコマンドを実行し、Virtualboxをインストールします。
$ sudo apt install virtualbox-5.1
