以下のコマンドを実行することでサブモジュールの変更を取り込むことができます。
git submodule update --remote
上記の場合にはすべてのサブモジュールの変更を取り込みますが、特定のサブモジュールのみの変更を取り込みたい場合には以下のように実行します。
git submodule update --remote <submodule_path>
