.goracle is the configuration file for the Goracle node, containing the account information required for the node to participate in the Algorand network, as well as the connection details for the Algorand node that the Goracle node will use. This file is created during the initialization of the Goracle node and is critical for backing up, restoring, and migrating the Goracle node to another VPS. As such, backing up this file is the top priority for Goracle node operators and will be necessary in case of Goracle node or VPS failure, or when migrating to another VPS. I have created a repository that can assist with backup and restoration, which I hope will be useful for the Goracle team and GoraGang members.
This backup repository is specifically designed for Mac and Linux users, and may not be useful for Windows users. The Goracle node is very user-friendly for operators, and the configuration file is so simple that it can be saved in Notepad by simply copying and pasting. Additionally, if you use SFTP, you can make the file copying process more visually appealing. Although it is not necessary to create a repository, it is also possible to copy files using the command prompt. As this repository is related to the Goracle node, we share it here.
