cargo buildで「error: linker `link.exe` not found」をVisual Studioを使わずに解決

「scoop install rustup」でrustupをインストールして、cargo buildしたら以下のエラー

error: linker link.exe not found

= note: program not found

調べてみると、Visual StudioのC++開発ツールをインストールすると解決するとのこと
だがとりあえずbuildしたいだけなので、Visual Studioをインストールするのはめんどくさい

解決方法

「scoop install rustup-gnu mingw」でGNU版のrustupをインストールする
　
参考にもあるようにrustupにはMSVC版とGNU版があり、「scoop install rustup」ではMSVC版がインストールされるためVisual Studioが必要になるらしい
