Ubuntu16.04 でシステムログ(syslog)が容量を圧迫している場合には削除しましょう。
問題はないようです。
ディスク使用量アナライザーで圧迫しているログのアドレスを適当に探して
sudo rm syslog.1; sudo rm syslog
これで万事解決！
