Turns out my issue was not getting set up on the right version of the developer org - I ended up finding success by deleting the 'Short Jobs' palette that existed, and starting from scratch, rather than simply updating the existing palette that came with the org. I believe I selected a value other than 'Duration in Minutes' to begin, then went back and updated - though the challenge wouldn't recognize the update.

• We can't find the Short Jobs palette. Make sure the palette was created according to the requirements, including the minimum and maximum values and colors.

Deleting the palette and rebuilding it fixed the issue.
